Clay Bar Treatment

A clay bar is worked across every painted panel to physically remove bonded contaminants the wash cannot touch — tree sap, tar, industrial fallout. The surface needs to be perfectly smooth before any correction or coating goes on.

Expect anywhere from 4 to 12 hours depending on the tier and your vehicle's paint condition. Essential Protection on a well-maintained car is on the shorter end. Elite Armor with full paint correction on a larger vehicle takes a full day. James will give you a realistic time estimate when you get your quote.
A professionally applied ceramic coating maintained correctly lasts anywhere from 3 to 7 or more years depending on the product, the number of layers, and how the vehicle is cared for. Consumer-grade spray coatings marketed the same way last 6 to 12 months at best. Professional application and professional-grade product are what make the difference.
Far less than uncoated paint. A pH-neutral hand wash every few weeks is all you need to keep a ceramic coated vehicle in great shape. Avoid automatic car washes with abrasive brushes, and do not use dish soap or harsh degreasers on the paint.
